we had flood warnings on the russian river and apple river and man is it going up in steam this weekend as we look at mostly clear skies. if you're looking to head out, the cherry blossom festival happening in san francisco, a nice a sunny mild day for them. if you want to come into the city, it's a beautiful day to do t. numbers in the 50s. 53 degrees at livermore. 54 degrees under mostly clear skies. giants take on the padres at 1:05:00 p.m. beautiful day for a baseball game. sunny and on the nice and mild side. 68 degrees game time. temps out the door this morning, readings by 9:00 of about 60 degrees around the bay and 56 inland and plenty of sun for the bay area. you can see it in this another shot as we look at the deck of the approach to the bay bridge. it will warm up today. near 90 tomorrow, and cooler by wednesday. we'll get a cooling trend. high pressure in full command of the eastern pacific. we'll get into the mid-80s today, and if you're heading out tomorrow, travel plans shouldn't be much influenced by the weather. light winds and sunny for the bay area. 76 for monday and

numbers today stay in the mid-70s down in the south bay, a few low 80s, too. 79 in sunnyvale, home of apple computer, 80 cupertino. 82 morgan hill. san jose today 81 degrees. east bay we look at low 80s. 81 at livermore, pleasanton 82. and 82 at antioch. 76 vallejo near the delta. and 80 degrees in santa rosa and 78 degrees in petaluma. 75 for novato and 80 for sonoma. in the extended forecast we are going to be looking for numbers to still warm slightly through the weekend and into next week. look at tuesday numbers approaching mid- to upper 80s. and all the way toward next thursday. still stay warm inland 70s along the bay about as good as it gets with a mild beach. that's weather, here's traffic with elizabeth. >>> thank you, brian. we are still getting some more details about this accident in hayward. we have just confirmed that it is a fatal accident on mission boulevard so they closed off a couple of block stretch of mission boulevard both directions between blossom way and medford avenue. so this was an accident involving a pedestrian. and i'm just seeing some new information coming
